Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The tool requires gender, birth date, how you'd rate your health, tobacco use, your target coverage amount and the term you're considering. These six inputs are sufficient to show you carrier rates. Your name, address and health background are only requested if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They're quotes each carrier provides based on the health tier you selected. The final amount you pay is set by the carrier's underwriting team, which may confirm your class, upgrade you or adjust it. Nothing here guarantees a particular cost or is a formal insurance offer.
What happens when I click Apply?
You supply your name and the exact quote you selected is used to open an application on the carriers' secure system. It's prefilled with what you entered. You may save and finish later and sign everything digitally. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California firm (License 0B75129), manages it all.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies: depends on the carrier, your requested amount and your health information. Many carriers provide instant decisions for eligible applicants through quick-approval programs; the quote results tell you whether an exam is required, possibly needed or not required for each option.
Is a longer term better?
A term should run through the years when you're financially indispensable: an outstanding mortgage, young kids at home, a company loan. Longer terms cost more month to month but lock in your rate longer. The tool lets you see costs side-by-side for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years.
Does this site sell my information?
No. We don't require or retain contact information from the quote tool, we don't trade or share data and our measurement is cookieless. The privacy page details everything collected and by whom.
